Nature Navigators - Reception

This week Reception had a great time on our trip to Ryde library. They were amazing listeners and we learnt lots about the library. Our text this week has been Meg and Mog. We’ve had lots of fun listening to this story and other Meg and Mog books. In Drawing club, we enjoyed drawing Meg’s house as well as designing a cheesemobile for the mice! In Maths we have ben learning about identifying the part and whole of objects and using jigsaws and puzzles to help. We also used our measuring skills to make some amazing Mog pictures. This week was Road Safety week, as part of this we learnt about how to stay safe when crossing roads and why it tis important to hold hands when we cross the road. We also enjoyed seeing our buddies this week. They joined us for some PE and then they read us some stories.
